Cape Coral has officially entered the Gas Pump Olympics. Every pump is occupied at a busy morning gas station: one driver finishes fueling up and spends the next five minutes cleaning windows and checking emails while cars stack up behind them, another attempts a parking maneuver that turns into a multi-round event judged in real time, and then a local pro glides into the only open pump on the first try. Burrowing Al hands out the gold medal for the only category that matters here: patience.
